Built around the same 13-plate, 85 Ah-per-plate cell architecture as its GT18-85-13 sibling, the GT18-85-13-3 offers 595 Ah at 36V with a heavier ballasted tray at 1,475 lbs — the same 38 × 15.5-inch footprint but with additional mass to satisfy stricter OEM counterweight requirements on certain narrow-aisle and Class II Class II lift trucks models. This configuration is the right choice when counterweight compliance is as important as capacity and the standard 1,400 lb tray falls short of the equipment's minimum battery weight specification.
