Refurbished forklift batteries are used industrial lead-acid batteries that have been stripped down, assessed cell by cell, rebuilt with serviceable cells, re-trayed where the tray needs it, and load-tested before they are listed. They cost substantially less than new and are sized, wired and terminated to the same specification, so a refurbished battery that matches your truck drops straight into the same battery compartment.
Every unit is listed against the equipment it fits, with its measured voltage, capacity, tray dimensions and weight on the product page. If the specification does not match your truck, it is not the right battery — which is why the fastest route to the right one starts with your equipment rather than with a catalog.

Compare against new
Flat plate and tubular industrial batteries, new, in the same voltages and tray sizes — worth a look when the truck is staying in service for years rather than months.

What has to match
Four measurements decide whether a battery fits. Have these to hand and the search takes a minute.
- System voltage
- 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V or 80V, stamped on the truck's data plate.
- Capacity
- Amp-hours at the 6-hour rate, which sets how long a shift the battery covers.
- Tray size
- Length, width and height of the compartment, in inches. A battery that is close but not equal does not go in.
- Connector and terminal
- Connector type, cable length and lead position, so it reaches your charger without an adapter.
Condition, testing and what you get
Refurbished units are sold as refurbished, not as new, and each listing says so on the product page. Cells are individually assessed and replaced where they fail; the tray is repaired or replaced when it is corroded; intercell connectors and cables are renewed as needed; and the finished battery is capacity-tested before it ships. Weight, dimensions and capacity on the listing are the measured values for that unit, not a catalog nominal.
Delivery is by freight on a pallet, and an industrial battery needs equipment to unload. Tell us your site and we will confirm what is needed before anything ships.
Not sure it fits? Have it checked first.
Send the make, model and the four measurements above and we will confirm the fit and come back with a price. If nothing refurbished matches, we will say so and quote the new equivalent instead.
