This page lets you control how Radian Batteries uses your personal information for advertising and analytics. You don't have to be a customer to use these controls, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Opt Out of the Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information

When you visit radian-batteries.com, we use cookies and similar technologies from Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics), Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising / UET), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) to measure ad performance and serve interest-based advertising. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and several other state privacy laws, that activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your opt-out applies to the browser and device you're using right now. If you use a different browser or device, you'll need to opt out there too - unless you have Global Privacy Control turned on (see below).

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser or a browser extension (such as Privacy Badger, DuckDuckGo, Brave, or Firefox's GPC setting) sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as a valid opt-out request from the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser and device - without you needing to click anything.

Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to:

  • Know or access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we hold about you
  • Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format
  • Limit our use of sensitive personal information (we do not currently use sensitive PI for purposes that trigger this right)
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making
  • Appeal if we deny your request

What to include in your request

So we can verify you and respond accurately, please tell us:

  1. What you'd like us to do - opt out, delete, give you a copy, correct something, etc.
  2. The email address, phone number, or order number you used with us, so we can locate your records
  3. Your state of residence (so we can apply the right law)
  4. If you're an authorized agent acting on someone's behalf - written proof of authorization, plus enough information for us to verify the consumer's identity

How long it takes

We respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by law:

  • Opt-out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising: within 15 business days
  • Access, deletion, correction, portability: within 45 days (with one 45-day extension if reasonably necessary, in which case we'll let you know)

We don't charge a fee for the first request you make in a 12-month period.

If we deny your request

You have the right to appeal in states that grant this right (CA, CO, CT, VA, TX, OR, MT, DE, IA, TN, IN, NJ, NH, MN, and others as enacted). To appeal, reply to our denial email or send a new email to service@radian-batteries.com with subject line "Privacy Appeal" and we'll re-review within 60 days.

Marketing Email and Text Opt-Out

  • Email: Click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email, or email service@radian-batteries.com.
  • Text messages: Reply STOP to any text from us.

You'll keep receiving transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, customer service replies) even if you opt out of marketing.

Authorized Agents

You can designate someone to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We will require:

  • A signed written authorization from you, OR a valid power of attorney
  • Verification of your identity directly with us
  • The agent's contact information

Notice for California Residents

This page, together with our Privacy Policy, serves as the notice required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act).

In the past 12 months we have "sold" or "shared" the following categories of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising:

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address, account ID)
  • Internet/network activity (browsing and interaction with our site)
  • Inferences drawn from the above (such as product interests)

Recipients are our advertising partners: Google, Microsoft, and Meta.

We have not sold or shared personal information of consumers we know to be under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require limitation rights.
